Two bodies that fit together in infinite embraces, the fingers of the hands that brush against each other, the skin that merges with that of the other person. Private and intimate moments are Diletta Innocenti Fagni‘s favourite subjects, which she captures and represents in her oil paintings.
Born in 1988, Diletta Innocenti Fagni has never set herself any limits, especially in the field of art and self-expression. She began studying art during her high school years and continued during university, graduating in art, theatre and cinema.
Her curriculum vitae includes experience as an actress, a dancer and for some time now also as a painter.
The technique chosen by Diletta Innocenti Fagni is far removed from the trend of recent years, with the rise of digital art and illustration merging with graphic design, and the young Florentine has opted for oil painting.
Her canvases celebrate femininity and the female body, but also explore the world of relationships. In the last year, responding to the need for human contact, she has begun to paint those embraces that have long been forbidden to us with simplicity and melancholy.
What characterises all her work is a private slant: at times you may have the feeling of spying on the subjects painted, becoming invisible spectators of their intimacy.
