Sergio Zambon, Head of Menswear at Moncler, has always drawn inspiration from multiple forms of expression.
His creative vision is constantly nourished by other disciplines, contemporary art is his daily inspiration, both through his works and through the friendship relationship he has for years with many artists.

Zambon shared this love of art by organizing and curating for Moncler MONDOGENIUS, with the same holistic and eclectic approach applied to fashion, the Instant Message – A One-Day Exhibition, inviting interested parties to Milan’s Central Station where contemporary artists Andrea Anastasio, Erwin Wurm and Prem Sahib exhibited their artwork related to its MONDOGENIUS 2 MONCLER 1952 MAN collection.
The series interprets Moncler’s DNA in alternative and unexpected contexts and each artist’s work reflects Zambon’s sensitivity in exploring contrasts, playing with perspectives and subverting everyday reality.

Erwin Wurm’s Fat Mini twists the form and pop cultural cache of an iconic car by transforming the Moncler down jacket into a shocking pink silhouette that provokes introspection on consumerism, iconography and art itself.

Puffer Desk by Prem Sahib examines the concept of the desk as a cultural artifact and symbol of solitary productivity. Andrea Anastasio applies philosophical curiosity to the symbolism of functional objects: in the Alta Quota vases, wrapped and decorated with mountaineering ropes; in the Giubbotti vase, insulated with Moncler down jackets; and in the Pillow seating, a playful interrogation, a concise visual statement that fuses Eastern and Western idiosyncrasies in the form of the pillow.
The exhibition is followed by a benefit auction on Artsy – the world’s leading online art marketplace – from September 25 through October 11. Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit organization FREE THE WORK, on behalf of The Film Path, with the goal of supporting and promoting Black, Indigenous and people of color (BIPOC) and transgender people in the film world.
