Founded by Nicole Schoeni, Schoeni Projects is a platform that aims to promote intercultural exchange through the works of international artists presented to the public during two initiatives per year. This year’s first exhibition, entitled “disCONNECT“, was presented at the beginning of the month as an exclusively virtual event due to the current pandemic, but a few days ago the news arrived that the works will also be visible live from July 24th to August 23rd, with quota-restricted admission and compulsory booking.

“disCONNECT” is a group show that saw 10 international artists working on site-specific works specifically designed for the London headquarters of the Schoeni Projects, a Victorian residence in the south-west of the city. The decadent rooms of the building provide the backdrop for the creations of Adam Neate, Aida Wilde, Alex Fakso, Mr.Cenz, David Bray, Herakut, Icy and Sot, Isaac Cordal, Vhils and ZOER.

The works of “disCONNECT” deal with issues related to current events, technology and also the situation we have experienced in recent months, transforming from a simple exhibition to a place to immerse yourself in and to let yourself be transported to the discovery of different techniques and different artists.
