On the occasion of Euro 2020, Euro Social GVNG a project that brings together Rap, street football and fashion – has created a Home and an Away jersey presented with a beautiful shoot.

To tell the philosophy of this project we borrow the words chosen by those same people who carry it on every day: “Euro Social GVNG is the meeting between Rap, street football, neighborhoods and the will to make it.
With the most representative artists of the scene we create their teams, their uniforms and we tell the stories of the streets that led them to be who they are. We are tied to street football and the buildings of the suburbs because that’s where we come from.
We are connected to street football and the buildings of the suburbs because that’s where we come from. We have all kicked a ball between two benches and a few scooters, dreaming of becoming a footballer, a rapper or simply hoping not to get into trouble. For us it is important to create a bond with all the blocks of Italy. We want the boys and girls who follow us to actively participate in our choices, our activities and to be of help to those on the street who do not even have a ball to kick. Creating our jerseys is not only a desire to create something beautiful but a desire to give shape and voice, through all our passions, to what we believe in and believe in. What moves us and moves you inside.
Esg is all that we are: concrete, buildings, friendship, desire to succeed and desire to shout it out loud.”
Among the rappers with whom they have collaborated we find names such as Gué Pequeno, Noyz Narcos, Ernia, Side, Luche, Tedua, and many others.
The Home jersey dropped on the day of Italy’s Euro 2020 debut against Turkey – as well as the Away jersey, both sold out in 12 hours – picks up the ocean blue color of the Italian National football team and the crest is a rework that pays homage to Patrizia Pattacini’s iconic logo that accompanied Italy from 1992 to 2000.

The Away jersey, on the other hand, has a tie-dye effect and is produced in a limited edition, each one handmade. Compared to the Home version, the ‘sponsor’ is less canonical.

Both jerseys, designed by Andrea Muten and Euro Social GVNG team, feature an ESG arm patch and a gold lurex authenticity patch that reads, “This special jersey celebrates the union of all the neighborhoods of Italy and the tenacity of those who live in them. The National team is us. Italy 2021”.
The shooting realized ad hoc was shot by Beatrice Chima in Rome, the city that hosted the opening match of Euro 2020, sees as protagonists young people of southern Rome (Spinaceto, Decima, Laurentino 38, Tor Marancia) involved through the social channels of Euro Social GVNG and are part of the community.

Given the success of the first drop, the Home jersey will be released again on Wednesday 16th on eurosocialgvng.com, on the occasion of the second match of the Italian National Team at Euro 2020 against Switzerland.
