We got to know Jonas Hafner because of his incredible photographs, but when we discovered his real profession, we were astonished. Jonas is a full-time doctor and we fell into the trap of those who believe that a lot of creativity cannot be hidden behind scientific work. However, it doesn’t take long to change our minds, just by looking at his photographs.

Jonas is from Hamburg but has also lived in Scotland, New Zealand and Sweden in the past. It was here that he discovered his passion, starting with landscape photography and experimenting with the technique in his spare time. With time his skills and experience have led him to focus on portraits and we find that this achievement suits him perfectly.
