I mean no offense to the allergic people, but spring has a long list of elements in its favor than the other annoying seasons, especially the flowerings.

In art, flowers have been painted, photographed, filmed and used in installations, like the ones of the American artist Jenine Shereos, realized during her residency at La Maison Verte in Marnay-sur-Seine in France.

In the French countryside, Jenine has used to have long walks, fall in love with the landscape and the flowers that bloom during the warm season: for her artistic creations she just picked up local flowers and transformed them in main characters of real installations. Attracted by an empty room in the old house where she was staying, the flowers were sometimes suspended by the ceiling, sometimes used to cover the glasses of a window, sometimes on the floor in geometric forms. The duration of the installation was completely in control of nature and its course, she couldn’t do anything more than testify their beauty through photographs of her creations.
