Gentle Monster and FKA twigs Tease Spring with Bouquet

Gentle Monster opens 2026 with Bouquet, a new eyewear collection that takes shape like a living organism, constantly transforming. Giving it a voice is a video campaign suspended between art and performance, co-directed by FKA twigs and photographer-director Jordan Hemingway, who together build a surreal and hypnotic visual world—perfectly aligned with the brand’s vision. A campaign that breaks away from the usual formula, much like THE HUNT—the short film directed by Nadia Lee Cohen and starring Hunter Schafer.

Gentle Monster

The starting point is the world of botany: the internal architecture of plant stems becomes a formal language, translated into frames that seem to grow into themselves through rings, weaves, and bindings. The lines are fluid yet structured, organic yet assertive. Among the most iconic pieces stands out a statement frame embellished with vibrant beadwork—a carefully balanced mix of visual delicacy and sculptural expressiveness, able to turn the accessory, as often happens with Gentle Monster, into a true art object.

The campaign film, accompanied by an unreleased, previously unheard track by FKA twigs, follows the rhythm of a bud slowly opening until it becomes a flower. A cyclical process that becomes a metaphor for growth, potential, and mutation—central themes in Gentle Monster’s philosophy, long committed to pushing past the boundaries between fashion, contemporary art, and visual experimentation.

And Bouquet doesn’t stop at eyewear for Gentle Monster. The collection also expands through a series of immersive pop-ups in six cities around the world, conceived as moments of full bloom. Monumental installations, floral sculptures with saturated colors and theatrical textures surround a central chrome statue, turning each location into a dreamlike environment—half film set, half installation performance. An invitation to step physically into the Gentle Monster universe, where experience is an integral part of the story.

The Bouquet collection will be available starting January 16, 2026, online and in the brand’s physical stores.
