At first glance, it might look like a warehouse of used items, but the God’s Own Junkyard is a magical place for neon light enthusiasts and more.
It was founded by Chris Bracey, the Neon Man who for 37 years has created compositions of colored lights for famous artists and filmmakers. His works are famous in films such as The Chocolate Factory, Batman and Blade Runner.
For years Chris has kept neon fantasies, old signs, used props and lighting for fairs and circuses and then collected them all in one place, the God’s Own Junkyard.
You could spend days admiring the thousands of bright creations that fill the place to the last space. If you want to have a bite to eat or a drink between one light and the next, don’t worry because Chris Bracey had also thought of this and then you can enjoy something in the bar inside, The Rolling Scones.
