Federica Ponz de Leon is a young illustrator who works and lives in Milan. Digitally, thanks to the possibilities offered by the I-Pad Pro and After Effects, Federica creates a world populated by what she defines as “colorful and extravagant women” and the spirit of these female figures lives in her too.
From her illustrations, you can perceive her passion for fashion and fabrics, born as a child playing with the scraps of fabric left by her grandmother. Today her passion has become a job, designing patterns and motifs for different types of tissues.
At Collater.al we immediately fell in love with her playful, light-filled style and asked her to answer five questions with five illustrations.
Which female icon do you feel closer to?
What’s your favorite item of clothing?
What kind of tools do you use to create your artworks?
How do you imagine yourself in 30 years?
What do you see outside the window?
