Lena Jeanne is a young photographer from North Wales who, with her analogue camera, tells intimate and elegant stories.
Her delicate and refined shots and her wild and uncontaminated landscapes, are able to convey a sense of peace and tranquillity.
Lena Jeanne’s relationship with nature is harmonious and peaceful and seems to be part of her artistic practice.
Her aim seems to be attracted as much by long expanses of fields in bloom and horses in freedom as by warm and intimate environments and naked female bodies.

The latter are always foreshortened, cut from the frame or immortalised from behind. The natural light that touches them underlines their whiteness and generates plays of shadows and sharp contrasts.
All her works are processed by Southsun Film Lab, a film laboratory and photographic studio based in Bangor, Wales.
