JJJJound recently announced a collaboration with Korean artist Gyuhan Lee for the launch of a series of handcrafted lamps. This partnership represents an intriguing fusion of minimalist aesthetics and sustainability, transforming waste materials into unique design objects.
The lamps, available in two formats — a low version and a tall one — will be crafted using the brand’s own packaging materials, such as paper bags and adhesive tape, combined with Hanji, a traditional Korean paper. The result is a cubic structure that, when turned off, resembles a simple cardboard package, but once lit emits a warm, soft glow, transforming into a refined decorative object.
The collaboration with JJJJound fits perfectly within the brand’s philosophy, which favors understated, timeless design.
