On the day Karl Lagerfeld would have turned 88, the first limited edition NFT collection arrives on digital fashion platform The Dematerialised.

A tribute to a timeless icon of fashion history through the creation of an animated character with the unmistakable features of Lagerfeld.

The digital figures are inspired by one of the most famous quotes of the German designer: “I am like a caricature of myself, and I like that” and the Ikonik collection, characterized by nice graphics depicting Karl Lagerfeld himself and his characteristic look.

Starting with the designer’s lucky number, 7, the first version of the Karl Lagerfeld NFT figure is available in 777 units at the price of 77 euros and for every NFT purchased, a mangrove tree will be planted thanks to an initiative organized by The Dematerialised together with RE:EARTH.
