Blu is an Italian street artist whose real identity is unknown today. Active since the late 90s, thanks to his recognizable style and his metaphors of denunciation, the artist Blu today is considered one of the most famous and influential street artists around.

He did not wait, after the lockdown imposed he returned with his art in the streets of Campobasso in Molise with a new artwork entitled “La Pandemia”.

The mural depicts a dystopian scenario where giant pandas are depicted as the circulating virus invading the city and destroying everything. People, on the other hand, become the urban architecture that they themselves create. There is no death of human beings in Blu’s latest work, but the fall of buildings and scaffolding revealing the current society.
The afterlife, that is, the present, is still to be reconstructed.

The new artwork is on the façade of the Alphaville cinema. “La Pandemia” was realized in collaboration with Draw The Line 2020, a street art festival in Italy organized by Malatesta Associati.
