Lamiaa Ameen is an Egyptian illustrator and art director who during the day is a mother and works in an advertising agency, while at night and early in the morning she gives vent to all her artistic vein by creating illustrations at the edge of the dream.
Using all possible means, from pencils, pastels, oil paints to digital illustration, Lamiaa manages to give shape to her feelings, which are rediscovered to be universal, and strong emotions.
Enclosing something abstract in a sheet of paper is not an easy task, but the Egyptian artist seems to be able to do it in the best possible way. Her illustrations take us into a dreamlike world, suspended in time and space, that speaks a language that everyone can understand.
