Leonardo Betti is an Italian sound designer and graphic artist who has studied music and new technologies at the L. Cherubini Conservatory of Florence and has worked for brands such as Armani. In his project called “Rooms” the artist describes emotions and personal experiences, as he himself reveals:

“Here, each piece represents an imaginary place that conveys a sense of calm, happiness and pleasure in a clean space, surrounded by combinations of bright colours. The simplicity is brought into a surreal space, using a mix of flat design and 3D optimized by the presence of simple luminous letters”.

The idea is, therefore, to represent a room of the mind (suggests an episode of Sherlock) made of three-dimensional shapes, colored and surreal. Among his sources of inspiration are the sounds of funk, hip-hop, and ’80s combined with the architecture by Alvar Aalto and the art by Josef Albers.
