After presenting Louis Vuitton’s Fall/Winter 2021 with a show critiquing society and its archetypes and Off-White™’s Ready-to-Wear Fall/Winter 2021 “Laboratory of Fun” collection, Virgil Abloh held a spin-off show in Seoul for the French fashion house’s FW21.

The set created for the occasion was designed by reimagining Art Bunker B39, a space dedicated to art and culture just outside South Korea’s capital.

The stars of the show are BTS – Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V e Jungkook – Louis Vuitton ambassadors and the most famous K-pop group on the planet.

The show aimed to “redefine how our minds identify archetypical wardrobes which are tied to societal presumptions, the collection re-appropriates the normal through extreme elevation”.

41 looks from FW21 – 34 of which are shown for the first time – of which seven are worn by the BTS, immersed in a context dominated by a 20 meter high structure.
Concepts such as movement and speed are expressed through lines and shapes, while perspectives are revealed through the looks of the protagonists.
The soundtrack is by Benji B together with Cifika, Kim Kate and Net Gala.
