Scrolling through my Instagram feed, I’m always hoping to find something that suddenly stops me in my tracks. It happened recently with a post by Martin Naumann, a metallic, almost neon-lit Mercedes logo that made me think of a post-futuristic collaboration with Tron.
From that logo I also discovered the whole series of logos made by the German graphic designer. Vogue, Atari, Milka, Prada, Burger King, all reinterpreted as if they were embossed on a metal sheet. Martin Naumann also gave the possibility to download the set with all 54 graphics, to customize the icons of the iPhone Apps.
Seeing the result of the project, the rebranding of all the logos in an iridescent key is not a solution to be discarded.
