Anyone who has gone at least once to Norway to discover the Fjords has experienced firsthand the beauty and tranquility that one breathes. On the other hand, those who have seen these places only through photographs and magazines will know that these are enough to be fascinated by the splendid landscapes. Martin Paseka is one of these, but in addition to dreaming of the Norwegian fjords, he reproduces them in his illustrations.

Martin Paseka is twenty-five years old, originally from the Czech Republic, and for the past two years, he has been delighting in creating minimal, clean illustrations that showcase the icy Scandinavian landscapes. The impact and cleanliness of his work has led him to quickly gain a good following on Instagram and sell his work, both in the form of prints and as bookmarks.

Whether it’s a forest with different types of trees, a small island or the classic red fishermen’s cottages, what captivates his illustrations is the simplicity. There are two main characteristics: a minimal color palette and a few elements that stand out against blurred backgrounds.
