You know the video games of twenty years ago, in 2D, with giant pixels and static backgrounds? The ones in which a stylized little man had to avoid obstacles and could only slow down or jump? Imagine if the world suddenly became like this. Well, in Martin Reisch‘s shots the world turns into exactly one of those vintage video games and all thanks to a drone. 

His aerial photographs show the perfect geometry of streets, buildings, nature from above. Then, looking closely and paying attention you can see in the center of them a motionless figure, is the same Martin Reisch. Lying on lawns, football fields, stairs, sidewalks, Martin looks like the protagonist of an arcade video game, ready to start running to the finish line.
