Alcova

Originally Alcova was just a platform for independent design developed by Space Caviar and Studio Vedèt, but now is also a big appointment during the Design Week. The 2019 edition occupies two sites open to visitors in NoLo (it means North of Loreto), both will be intensely programmed for the event’s duration with exhibitions, talks, installations and screenings involving over a forty international partners from as many countries. The first location is the former panettone factory of Giovanni Cova & Co., an ex-industrial space partly taken over by plants and vegetation, frozen in a state of poetic semi-abandonment. The other location is Alcova Sassetti, organized in collaboration with Alice Stori Lichtenstein and Fondazione Kenta, a former cashmere factory in Isola. A lot of amazing designer and people: KooZA/rch with (Ab)Normal, Operevarie, Dzek/Formafantasma, Disegno Magazine, CIAM + Arabeschi di Latte, Cookies, Bloc Studios and much more.

Where and When: Via Popoli Uniti, 11, 20125 Milano MI, 9-14 April, 10-17.
