Polish visual artist Alicja Biała completely refurbished the walls of the Concordia Design building in Wrocław, Poland, as part of the renovation and expansion of the MVRDV architectural firm.
He did so by giving the building an overpowering splash of color with his delicate and simple artwork. In fact, the murals cover 500 square meters of the building and rise up to ten meters in height.
For the project, the artist also designed a four-by-four-foot colored light sculpture that weighs half a ton and hangs in the foyer on the historic side of the building.
An expensive job that took months and months to accomplish, now let the images do the talking. Here are Alicja Biała’s masterpieces.
