Among the sun-scorched alleyways of Catania and the scooters zipping through the city, in the shots by Andrés Juan Suarez there’s a detail that stands out as a sign of belonging: the Paris Saint Germain jersey in its Muten Crew version. It’s not just about football, but a symbol of hybrid identity, distant dreams, and a sense of belonging shaped by both urban influences and local roots.

Muten Crew knows this well, and with its new Paris Jersey they sign a statement of intent that blends blokecore aesthetics and Catanese identity. Inspired by the 2022/2023 PSG home jersey, the Paris Jersey is more than just a piece of clothing: it’s a visual short circuit between Sicily and 1990s France, between streetwear culture and militant cinema.

The most direct homage is to La Haine, the masterpiece by Mathieu Kassovitz that portrayed the social tensions of the Parisian banlieues. And it’s precisely that imagery—raw, authentic, radical—that serves as the backdrop for Suarez’s lookbook, poetically capturing the energy of the southern streets.
Details like Catania Airways—a fictional flight linking Mount Etna to Paris’s working-class neighborhoods—or the slogan Ici c’est Catania, a playful twist on PSG’s motto, speak to an identity built on cultural remix. A jersey that doesn’t aim to please everyone, but speaks to those who recognize the codes of blokecore, who’ve watched La Haine more than once, who feel the urge to redefine their cultural references.

The capsule was launched exclusively during a pop-up at Full Size Run, the iconic streetwear hub in Catania, in collaboration with City Zone. The online drop took place on June 21 on mutencrew.com, confirming that even from Southern Italy, urban narratives capable of speaking a global language can be born.
