Movimento Gallery presents UNDATED, the new marble table collection by Naessi Studio, a project that suspends design in an undefined time, where contemporary style and archetypal memory coexist without friction. Three models – one rectangular, one oval, and one round – transform marble into an essential language that speaks more to sculpture than to furniture.

The double cylindrical legs define a structure that is rigorous and at the same time elevated, a rhythm of solid and empty volumes that also emerges on the surface of the top, as a trace of the piece’s origin. For Eleonora Carbone and Alessandro D’Angeli, founders of Naessi Studio, form is born from listening to the material: travertine and grey arabescato orobico guide the gesture, conveying an idea of meditative solidity and continuity with the stone’s history.

The name UNDATED refers to an open temporality: objects that do not belong to a specific era but carry, in their proportions, an echo of ancient architectures reinterpreted in the present. It is a reflection on the permanence of form and on the way material preserves the passage of time.

For Movimento Gallery, which sees collectible design as a field of research and storytelling, the collaboration with Naessi Studio is a natural encounter. “UNDATED opens up a space of reflection on the meaning of design today,” says co-founder Salvatore Morales, recognizing in the project an authentic language and a rare depth of thought. In this way, UNDATED becomes more than a collection: a silent presence that does not seek perfection but the truth of the material, bringing fragments of antiquity back to life in our present.
