Negative Space, il cortometraggio che esplora la relazione padre-figlio | Collater.al 2

There are thousands of details about a relationship.
Every place, object or gesture binds us to someone who has been or is part of our life.

Negative Space, the short film by Baltimore’s two animators Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata, inspired by Ron Koertge’s homonymous poem, tells of the father-son relationship through the art of packing.
Both co-directors, for different personal experiences, immediately identified themselves in the story and realized how much of their childhood memories are linked to textures, objects and places that were part of their routine.

The short film, entirely in stop-motion, was just nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film

For now only they only released the trailer and an interesting behind-the-scenes.
For now we must content ourselves.
