Noah and adidas Originals have just presented their collaboration, a true celebration of the beauty, majesty, and fragility of the oceans.

The capsule collection consists of two sneakers and a coordinated apparel line and is distinguished by the use of Primeblue, a knitted material developed by adidas in collaboration with Parley for the Oceans, composed of plastics recovered from the oceans and recycled.

The collection is divided into two parts, one lifestyle and the other more performance-related.

For the lifestyle part, adidas and Noah have chosen an archive silhouette, the SL 72, while for that performance the choice was influenced by the passion for running of Brendon Babenzian, founder of Noah, with the reworking of the SL 20 running sneaker. Both sneakers will be presented in two different colorways.

“The water and the ocean were the backdrops for everything where I grew up. We spent incredible amounts of time at the beach, fishing or just hanging out near the water, – Babenzian explains – now that I am an adult with the ability to see the damage we’ve been doing to the environment and bodies of water, in particular, I am in a position to try to correct some of that damage”.

The Noah x adidas Originals collection will be released on August 27th.
