Photography as a means to explore horizons. Horizons understood as boundaries, as places that delimit new beginnings, where what we know meets the unknown. This, or rather On the Horizon, is the theme of the new Magnum Square Print Sale in partnership with Aperture.
From Monday, October 18 to Sunday, October 24, a selection of prints by 110 artists represented by Aperture and Magnum Photos will be available for purchase on the Magnum Photos website. Each photo represents in its own way the concept of horizon, which can be physical, like the point where the sea meets the sky, or abstract and represent a new beginning.
From Gregory Halpern to Thomas Hoepker, from Martin Parr to Joel Meyerowitz, the works of the great names of contemporary photography are on sale as always in the 6×6″ (15.24×15.24 cm) format, which now distinguishes the Magnum Square Print Sale, and are printed on archival paper accompanied by the signature or trademark of the property.
See below for some of the photographs on sale.
