Spidertag brings a breath of fresh air to the world of street art with his latest work Permanente e interactivo produced by Mistake Maker.
On the occasion of the Festival of Urban Art ESTAU held every year in Portugal, the street artist has created a mural that differs from the classic works made with paints and canisters. In fact, since 2016 Spidertag has fascinated his audience with works made of neon.
The artist gives these light and flexible cables the shape he wants and then attaches them to the wall. The magic happens when these lights are turned on in the dark of the night. The colored lines and shapes seem to be suspended in the air.
Influenced by Russian constructivism, kinetic art, cinema, literature, modern architecture, his idea goes against the fundamental principle of street art, which is to make works visible to everyone during the day. It is a personal interpretation of urban art, the result of years of work and experience.
