From David Peyote’s Canada, we cross the Pacific to South Korea, fascinated by the unique style of tattoo artist Pitta Kim aka Pitta kkm.
The beauty of his work has led him to be known internationally and to be hosted in different tattoo studios around the world. What characterizes what I would call true works of art is the use of bright, full and strong colors with contours usually made with thick gold lines.
Even the style is unique in its kind, Pitta kkm combines in a single tattoo different artistic currents, from the Korean and Asian tradition to the works of Klimt, Botticelli, Magritte, and many others. His works are an explosive mix of genres and subjects, of different colors and patterns, thus bringing together a modern art form like that of tattooing with the great classics. These are works that you will appreciate even if you are not a fan of the genre and if you ever feel like getting tattooed by him know that he has a very long waiting list and you can wait a long time, but I’m sure it will be worth it.
