They’re still renderings but Jared Zaugg is working to make his special idea a reality. Entitled “Porsches in nature”, the exhibition conceived by the designer will allow people to discover about 30 models of the famous car in the Utah desert.
“Cars represent personal freedom – they’re meant to take us places. Yet every museum display is indoors, confined by walls. This exhibition engages the act of travel, discovery and experience, and frames the cars against an endless horizon of awe-inspiring scenery. Combining landscape art, industrial art and fine art, with the great American road trip, it’s a concept and execution unlike anything else.“

Yes, you’ve got it right, the prestigious cars will be in the immensity of the American desert covered by special cases able to block UV rays and protect the cars from any possible deterioration.
The exhibition can be attended in two different ways. The first on foot for a unique walk in the red and arid lands of Utah, the second by car, with a mandatory route to experience the exhibition from a different point of view.
The exhibit will last about four months and is scheduled to open in 2022. For now, we’ll still have to wait but below you can find some renderings for “Porsches in nature”.
