Posture Vases is the title of a project created by the collaboration between Bloc Studios, the brand made in Italy founded in Carrara in 2014, and the photographer Carl Kleiner who, in 2014, had created a photographic collection named Posture to which, the new project, is obviously inspired.
Based on a mix of different disciplines including photography, design and Ikebana art, an ancient oriental tradition that enhances the creative relationship with nature, Posture Vases is a collection of poetic sculptural compositions in balance between reality and fiction.
Design and craftsmanship blend together creating plant installations where the flowers, supported by a subtle metal wire construction of marble bases, are photographed in poses that seem to give them life, leading the spectator to an intimate reflection.
