With a little bit of imagination a vintage car can become half modern, a man can show off beautiful woman’s legs, the new New York can go back to being the old one and a lady sitting on a bench in Japan can be found in the middle of Central Park.
Kalen Hollomon, an artist who combines street photography and collage art, makes with his Realtime Collage project, visual mixtures of unsuspecting protagonists with old newspaper clippings.
His goal is to investigate questions related to social rules, identity and perception of what is considered normal and what is considered absurd.
