The bio in Recess‘ Instagram profile, the company that produces sparkling drinks with different flavours, but all based on CBD, cites “we created an antidote to modern times”. Their products follow this phrase in every way and now the brand new pop-up shop in New York represents it at its best. In fact, at 680 on the Broadway, has just opened the Recess IRL that for three months already will allow customers to try and taste their products, but will also offer meetings and events all designed for creative people and people of the trade.

Entering the temporary store gives you the same feeling as taking a sip of one of their drinks, one hundred percent relaxing. Recess IRL is illuminated by soft blue and pink neon lights, the walls and the floor have the colors of the sunset decorated with inspirational quotes. The icing on the cake of this temporary is a room in which a human-sized Zen garden has been recreated. 

Let’s face it, if a can of Recess can’t get you to relax, which is very unlikely, the Recess IRL won’t let you down.
