Harreman is the Reskate Studio project that for years has been bringing unique mural works to walls all over Europe, which only reveal themselves in the dark. The photoluminescent paint used by María López and Javier de Riba creates incredible images, capable of breaking up the urban landscape and thanks to its glow.
The latest work presented by Reskate Studio is entitled “Eulalia” and depicts a girl immersed in water, with her torso – the only part visible during the day – to which a vase containing a plant is clutched.
Eulalia‘, created between 2022 and 2023, is painted in Mérida, a town in Extremadura (Spain), and is surrounded by white residential buildings.

Reskate Studio also makes traditional murals, but those of the Harreman project seem to be painted with light, and the artists themselves explain the significance of the project, explaining how they want to “try to illuminate the dark corners of the city, installing new lights and encouraging citizens to interact with the wall“.
It is therefore also a project of citizen participation, thinking about urbanism through art. other recent works in the project include ‘Rivalité,’ presented in 2022 at the Maison de Jeunes et de la Culture Nelson Mandela, in Fontaine, France.
All the studio’s work is available on Behance and the project’s official website.
