After the recent collaboration between adidas and Prada, there are rumors that the German sports brand is creating a new product with another very important name to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Superstar: the hip-hop group Run-DMC. The shoe, named Run-DMC x adidas Superstar, will be available in three color versions: black, white and a combination of the two.
On the tongue of the shoe, there is the adidas logo and the face Jam Master Jay, while the Superstar brand is placed at the top of the three stripes is contained by two red bands representing an ode to the group logo. Since Run-DMC proudly wore their sneakers without laces, the sneaker could also be designed to be easy to wear without laces. The collaboration marks the third time the two names will work together, after the adidas Superstar 80 25th anniversary and 35th anniversary editions. Run-DMC x adidas Superstar will be released, according to sources, next April 2020 and can be purchased online and in the brand’s official stores.
