Scrolling through Instagram’s search page, besides the myriad photos and videos of influencers and celebrities, you can come across something very interesting and also very beautiful. The discovery of the scar_illustration profile happened like this, a bit by chance and I immediately fell in love with it.
The idea of being able to create some illustrations with the use of a few lines I find it fascinating. With black strokes, precise but soft scar_illustration gives shape to both male and female silhouettes that convey peace and relaxation.
Over time his technique has refined and unlike many others who tend to add he plays by default. His early works were characterized by a thick black line that is now thin, almost fragile. The use of color is reduced to a minimum and if there is one he uses only one to highlight objects, parts of the face or body. It is a well-defined world, simple but never trivial, the opposite of what we experience every day.
