Over the past few days, as we walked along the Naples seafront, we could see a lot of activity surrounded by clouds of colour coming out of spray cans.
It was ART&more, a project for which nine Neapolitan street artists were called in to create an equal number of works covering an area of 3300 square metres on the Caracciolo promenade.
Jorit, Shaone, Iabo, Zeus, Tres, Yele, El Nigro, Cref and Alessandro Cocchia are the artists involved, who for three days worked incessantly to create floor murals, which, so as not to damage the asphalt, were created on a PVC sheet 300 metres long and 11 metres wide.
The official inauguration took place today at 12 noon in the presence of the mayor of Naples Luigi de Magistris, and the huge monumental work will remain visible until 21 July.
