After postponing it, it is now official, Soul the new Pixar masterpiece will be released on December 25 on the Disney+ platform.
The movie by Pete Docter is a real godsend in this global climate. A film that pushes one to reflect on life, on one’s passions, on the search for happiness and personal fulfillment.

In these hours has been released the new official trailer, after the world premiere at the London and Rome Film Festivals.

Soul is the first Pixar animated film to have a cast made up mainly of African-American performers: Jamie Foxx gives the voice to Joe Gardner, a middle school music teacher in Queens who finally has the chance to play the piano for a well-known jazz quartet. We also find the musician Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, Daveed Diggs and Angela Bassett.

A few more months of waiting and then we will finally find out what Pete Docter has reserved for us, but the premises are more than excellent.
