It looks like a club, but it’s a dental office in Berlin! We are talking about The Urban Dentist, the latest work by Studio Karhard, whose founders are Thomas Karsten and Alexandra Erhard, as well as the interior designers of the famous club Berghain.

Owned by three young dentists, The Urban Dentist was designed by Studio Karhard to look like a “concept store or a cool bar”. The clinic is located near the city’s S-Bahn railway line, which earned it the name “The Urban Dentist”. As the team said:

“We wanted to create an atmosphere where patients could feel relaxed and fearless, so we tried to avoid typical dentist colors like white and glossy surfaces”.

Maybe one day we will be able to have fun at the dentist in the same way as when we are inside a club … for now we have to be satisfied only with the design, for everything else there is anesthesia.
