Studio Nari Knows How to Make a Brand Identity

How do you put together a perfect brand identity? There is no universal recipe, let alone one that can be replicated. It is all about considering the brand’s vision and mission, the perception of its own customers, the product it offers, and so on. Today let’s take as an example a recent project by Studio Nari, creating a brand identity and strategy for Living Things, a new probiotic beverage brand that had yet to be launched in the market. In this case, if the brand is still lacking visual structures, the graphic designers are even freer to build an identity from scratch, with the opportunity to position an already strong product in terms of aesthetics and communication in the market. Let’s take a closer look at the implementation process.

As they explain on It’s Nice That, Studio Nari started from the beginning, even from the choice of the name, Living Things, which came from the reasoning behind it all. To intercept both Millennials and Gen Z with a language that could adapt to different contexts, from super markets to luxury stores. How? By devising a playful brand that was friendly and accessible. So Studio Nari designed a logo with rounded edges and quirky details, using Pangram’s Agrandir font, to give an atmosphere that spoke of wellness, just like Living Things’ products. Thus, from complex information about the gut microbiome we move to accessible and appealing information, all thanks to the graphics.
