If you are a reading lover and have always dreamed of having a corner in your home where you can comfortably immerse yourself in a novel, Studio Strato has created a perfect project for you.
For a private house in Rome, the Studio and the architect Maria Clara Ghia realized all the requests of the clients, from a large bedroom, to a well-lit living room and kitchen. The highlight of this project, however, is the reading nook.
Inside, the walls are covered with bookshelves and the built-in sunshine-yellow daybed near the window seems like the right place to sit and read a book. A fundamental characteristic of the reading nook is the fact that it is only accessible through a porthole that connects it with the living room.
