If you’re already looking for a destination for next summer, Osaka could easily become the first choice as it hosts Universal Studios Japan‘s latest project, a Super Mario theme park. 

If you love the Mario and Luigi brothers, Yoshi and Toad, Princesses Peach and Deasy and the terrible Bowser, then Super Nintendo World is the place for you. 

According to Thierry Coup – current Senior Vice President and Creative Director of Universal Creative – the theme park will be a “life-sized, living video game“, so imagine the tracks you’ll drive in the world-famous karts, ride on the shoulders of giant Yoshi, fight other visitors with fireballs, enter Bowser Castle and collect gold coins. 

All this will be possible thanks to an electronic bracelet that will allow you to access all the attractions and interact with other people. 

To present the Super Nintendo World has been released the music video “We are born to play” which gives the first idea of what you can find inside the theme park and which sees the characters of the Super Mario world duet with the singing Charli XCX.
