Supreme has recently released, through its Instagram profile, its campaign for Spring/Summer 2022.
To sign the photo shoot (for now we have only one image) and the campaign video is a historical friend of the brand founded by James Jebbia, the American director, screenwriter, film producer, writer and photographer Harmony Korine.

Korine is one of the most important figures and reference of the independent cinema of the 2000s: at the age of 19, he wrote the screenplay for the controversial and generational 1995 Kids by Larry Clark, an expression of the mid-90s New York skate counter-culture from all points of view; in 1997, he made his directorial debut with the disturbing, dark and fragmented Gummo, ppreciated by sacred monsters such as Gus Van Pant and Werner Herzog; another milestone for Korine is his return to screenwriting in 2002, again for Larry Clark, for whom he edited the writing of Ken Park, also a very hard and raw film.

For this SS22 Supreme has once again turned to the American director and Korine remains true to himself basing everything on the theme of travel with an exceptional protagonist, the model and actress Julia Fox, who became famous for her role in Uncut Gems by the Safdie brothers starring Adam Sandler and also for her very brief but highly publicized affair with Kanye West.
There are also professional skateboarders from the Supreme team such as Tyshawn Jones, Sean Pablo, Mathias Sauvageon, etc., whom Fox takes care of as a stewardess, yes because it’s all set on a plane.

Below you can check out Supreme’s short SS22 campaign video starring Julia Fox and directed by Harmony Korine.
