Tai Soon Bar, a modern Chinese brewery

Craft beer, Chinese lanterns, neon lights and decadent style. The Taste Space design studio condensed all this into the Tai Soon Bar.

If there’s one thing Bangkok is famous for, it’s street food, and the food in the Thai capital is offered by canteens or small street activities. Here, a stone’s throw from the famous Pad Thai Pratu Phi, has recently opened the Tai Soon Bar, a real modern Chinese brewery.

The style of the place, designed by the design studio Taste Space, confirms the gastronomic proposal. The aim was to recreate a Chinese atmosphere, without affecting the dilapidated beauty of the building that houses the Tai Soon Bar.

Developed on three floors, the brewery manages to blend different styles, but also different cultures and traditions: the almost decadent facade immediately contrasts with the red neon lights that almost entirely illuminate the spaces. The three levels are joined by Chinese lanterns that start from the ceiling of the top floor and descend, through an empty space created on the second floor, to the lower floor.

Thanks to the Tai Soon Bar, you can switch from the scents of Thai cuisine to French tradition in just one step.
