February is the Black History Month and to celebrate it at its best Google made the video “The Most Searched” that was broadcast for the first time tonight at the Grammy Awards.
The video presents an overview of the most searched icons, events, and movements related to black culture on the web. It starts with Beyonce‘s unforgettable performance at Coachella, which also allows to have his “Countdown” as a background for the whole commercial, then moves on to Prince and John Legend, the world of sports with Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Serena Williams, the world of entertainment with Oprah and ending with the lapidary “I Have A Dream” by Martin Luther King.
“The Most Searched” tells a powerful story about how the Black community has helped shape and influence American culture.
“The Most Searched” was born from over 15 years of trend analysis and Google searches and from the curiosity of the researchers of the U.S. company who, through several aggregators have noticed an incredible common factor.
Dozens of Black Americans and the historical movements they led were searched more than any other person or event in a category.
