Tonight, without a ceremony, the Golden Globes were awarded. In fact, after the wave of criticism and controversy that swept through the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, along with some actors and production companies, following last year’s edition, NBC also backed down and decided not to broadcast the ceremony.
So the awards were announced through the Golden Globes website and social channels, but the winners did not go unnoticed. 

“The Power of the Dog“, directed by Jane Campion (Piano Lessons) and available on Netflix, won three awards: Best Drama, Best Director and Best Supporting Actor for Kodi Smit-McPhee. 

The film, starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Kirsten Dunst-Jesse Lon Plemons and the young Kodi Smit-McPhee, takes us to Montana about 100 years ago, where we follow the story of two brothers who own a ranch.
In addition to the plot, what stands out is the cinematography, by Ari Wegner, who has skilfully exploited the light of New Zealand, where the film was entirely shot.
