For the Fall/Winter 2021 campaign Thom Browne has chosen as protagonists the famous actor David Harbour, one of the protagonists of Black Widow and especially of the Netflix series Stranger Things, and the French-American artist Anh Duong.

The shots taken by the American photographer Tina Barney, are set in the pastoral setting of Teviotdale, a historic Georgian house in northern New York and draw inspiration from 19th century American painting inspired by rural life but reinterpreted through a “sartorial” vision. 

Thom Browne’s Fall/Winter 2021 campaign succeeds in its intent to elevate and bring out the collection’s clothes without camouflaging the models but rather, both protagonists (clothes and models) live their individuality and well-defined personalities. 

The images follow the couple through the house, which becomes the stage for the moments of daily life immortalized by Barney.
