1951

For the first-ever NBA All-Star Game in 1951, the jerseys were simple yet elegant. The design featured a white base for the Eastern Conference and a red base for the Western Conference, with “EAST” or “WEST” written in bold capital letters and the player’s number centered. The stitched stars, which have remained a recurring element, made their debut on these jerseys.

1991

In 1991, the NBA introduced a bolder design with vintage influences. The jersey that year featured a white base with red and blue details and a large logo prominently displayed on the front.

1995

The 1995 All-Star Game was held in Phoenix, but the uniforms paid homage to Texas. With a more modern design, vibrant colors, and distinctive elements like a cactus, these jerseys stood out as a unique representation of the event.

1996

The 1996 All-Star Game took place in San Antonio, and the jersey design was inspired by the city’s vibrant cultural graphics. It featured tribal elements, bright colors like turquoise, and a Southwestern aesthetic—including a chili pepper—making it one of the most sought-after jerseys among collectors.

2003

In 2003, the NBA opted for a more refined and modern look. The jerseys were monochromatic—blue for the East and red for the West—with silver details and an elegant font. This style marked a shift toward a more contemporary and less flashy design compared to previous years.

2014

In 2018, Jordan Brand removed the traditional conference colors, opting for a monochromatic black-and-white jersey with a minimalist and modern design. This change reflected the league’s desire to make the game more global and accessible to a broader audience.

For the 2020 All-Star Game, the NBA honored Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna by featuring the number 24 on the Eastern Conference jerseys and the number 2 on the Western Conference jerseys—symbolizing Kobe’s and Gianna’s jersey numbers.

2025

This year, for the 74th All-Star Game, which will take place on Sunday, February 16, at 8:00 PM ET in San Francisco, the three event jerseys, designed by Jordan Brand, highlight the connections between Bay Area communities and feature a color palette that pays tribute to the host team, the Golden State Warriors.
