After Bohemian Rapsody, the film about the Queen, is Rocketman‘s moment, the one about rock legend Elton John. In this case, it will not be a classic biopic, the director Dexter Fletcher, who has always worked on biographical and musical, has decided to homage the famous rockstar creating a hybrid between these two genres.
The provocative and innovative musician, which became iconic in the seventies and eighties will be interpreted by Taron Egerton.
Next to him will also play Bryce Dallas Howard (famous for his role in Mad Man), Richard Madden and Jamie Bell.
This work will be a great tribute to the long and profitable career of Elton John, who is also among the producers of the film, that, as announced, will end shortly after the launch in sales with a world tour concert.
