“Valentino Toile Iconographe”, the celebration of VLogo

Maison Valentino has just unveiled the Spring 2023 pre-collection – VALENTINO SURFACES of which an important chapter is Valentino Toile Iconographe, a true celebration of the VLogo that for the first time ever dresses Valentino Garavani ready-to-wear and accessories.

In fact, the logo is alive and dialogues with its surroundings, redefining its lines, crossing them, expanding them and then finding them again. “Logo is alphabet and it is word. Logo is space and it is architecture. The logo is beauty and it is culture”, said the fashion house directed by Pierpaolo Piccioli in the press note.
A tale that reads the spaces and the infinite creative possibilities that a blank, raw canvas inspires.
In this context, in this meta place of creation, Valentino Toile Iconographe was born where the canvas is iconographic, the image is everything, the logo represents and encompasses everything. The logo as an icon of our choices, even our most intimate ones.

Valentino has dedicated a campaign shot by renowned photographer Steven Meisel to this new pattern. It is a powerful and timeless campaign that focuses its gaze on the essentials and plunges into the visual memory of the aesthetic imaginaries of the last century through a rigor that is never taken for granted but actually reveals the consistency of the Italian fashion house to the present day.
The images are pure artist’s canvases with a strong graphic impact, in a truth that the lens of the famous American photographer authentically recalls.

Valentino Toile Iconographe is in constant and unceasing motion, to write and rewrite fashion. Boundless and genderless.
