It is the street artist OZMO who signed the new mural that has appeared in recent days among the buildings of Corso XXII Marzo. The Turinese artist, who has been active in Paris for many years, has chosen to return after years to Milan, a city with which he has strong artistic ties.
The subject chosen by OZMO is the famous Lady with an Ermine, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in 1489, brought with an ideal journey through time to the present day. Thanks to OZMO, the masterpiece of Renaissance art makes a journey that does not change its beauty, bringing the lady to life a second time.

The choice of Leonardo da Vinci is not random, OZMO in fact mentions an artist who has a very close link with the city, and whose masterpieces such as The Last Supper are still preserved.
The style and elegance of the woman imagined by the master of Renaissance art is contextualised in our days, which is why elements from the digital world such as pixels and pointers, realised with spray paint, are integrated into the mural.
The intervention was realised thanks to the association Street is Culture and the EST social cooperative
Enosteria Sociale. When you pass through Milano Est from now on, remember to say hello to a woman from another era, and her friendly pet.
